AGM and Committee UPDATE
On 28th July we held our first virtual Annual General Meeting using Zoom, which was attended by over 30 club members. Committee members were elected and re-elected and the Committee took questions from club members on a range of subjects, including when club rides might start again, club kit, our solidarity fund, sharing routes and Kev’s top tips for riding in groups of up to six.
We appointed Andrew Russell as our new Chair and three new Committee members were appointed: Peter Darch as Vice Chair, Sarah Ramage as Welfare Officer and Stephen McKee as Social Secretary.
No members put themselves forwards for the Membership Secretary position on the night, but Andy Donohoe has since volunteered and been duly appointed.
The Women’s Champion position was originally contested by Shuhena Islam and Werdah Hussain. However, Werdah has subsequently agreed to take on the BAME Champion role and Shuhena will serve as Women’s Champion.

Mike Mooney - Directeur Sportif
Calvin Cheung - Communications Officer
Pete Biggs - Communications Officer
The Lead Designer position was contested, so will now be put to a vote by the full membership. Members will receive more details of the candidates for the post and how to vote shortly.
We also reviewed the club’s annual accounts for the year, with income of £6780 and expenditure of £6,731.20. The club had £2,146.80 in reserve as of 31st March 2020.
