We run weekly rides on Saturday at around 9am departing from the Hub Velo shop. We have numerous groups which cater for different ability levels. Check out the different groups below:

You can trial up to 2 rides before joining the club.

Double Espresso
100-140km+ @ 30km/h+

Often featuring members of our race team, and experienced group riders that relish life at top speed!

As this is often a drop ride, we recommend you downloading the route onto your GPS tracker, so you can make your way back to London.

Espresso
90-120km @ 28-30km/h

This is ideal for when you’re gearing up for a race or if want a challenge and to test your limits!

You will need to have the route handy to navigate back to London just in case, as this is a drop ride.

Flat White
80-100km @ 26-28km/h

Our most popular group as this ride is usually made up of riders who want to ride a little faster and start sweating while also having a social chat.

This is a non-drop ride.

Cappuccino
75-100km+ @ 24-26km/h

Once you’re feeling a bit more confident, and looking to add some miles and speed to your Saturday mornings, then our Cappuccino group is for you.

This is a non-drop ride.

Latte
50-75km @ 22-24km/h

This ride will give an introduction to Hub Velo group riding and start you on your way to gaining the essential skills required to become a great cyclist.

This is a non-drop ride.

Intro
40-50km @ 20km/h

Hosted on the first Saturday of every month, our beginner’s ride has the perfect combination of social club riding, and learning some of the basics to help you feel more confident on the roads.

This is a non-drop ride.

Usually rides will have a brief halfway stop at a café for light refreshments. Routes for each club ride are announced in advance on Spond and can be downloaded onto your compatible bike computer.

women’s rides

In addition to weekly regular club rides, we run frequent women only rides. These rides normally last two or three hours at a relaxed pace with regular stops and are open to both current women members as well as newcomers to the club. We warmly welcome all women who are new to cycling. Get a taste of what group riding is like while exploring some new roads on two wheels in a relaxed and safe environment.
